My name is Gwendolyn Wiegold, and I’m a director, performer, and photographer based in Chicago.

In making art, I commit myself to creating safe spaces in which myself and others can live dangerously, places where we can play together as seriously as children. I aim to tell stories I've never heard before, and to tell old ones with a fresh pair of eyes to an ever-changing world. Through creating art, I strive to touch lives and find my own ways of holding space and finding meaning in an unpredictable world.
